Quality Care You Can Count On
If you are reading this right now, then you probably have chronic pain, or know someone that does. You are not alone. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experiences chronic pain. In fact, chronic pain has been recognized as the number one cause of disability and disease burden worldwide. Chronic pain can impact multiple areas of your life. Many people with chronic pain often notice that their mood, relationships, activity levels, self-esteem, sleep quality, memory, and productivity levels are negatively affected. I am here to help.
Chronic pain is a complex problem and is best understood from a holistic perspective. As previously mentioned, if you have chronic pain, it likely interferes with many aspects of your life (i.e., work, relationships, sleep, mood, intimacy, etc.). Using evidenced based practices and relevant pain science techniques, I will help you learn and implement adaptive ways to cope with your pain, manage your mood more effectively, reduce your pain experience, and increase your overall quality of life. I will assist you in developing the skills and coping strategies needed to get back to a life driven by values, and the things you love, rather than a life driven by pain.
Chronic pain can make life feel overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I’m here to guide you through any obstacles you may face. Schedule your free phone consultation today.

My Approach
I utilize an integrative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and other psychophysiological techniques (i.e., biofeedback, relaxation training, hypnosis, etc.). This is all just a fancy way of saying, I help you understand the interplay between your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and pain experience, while helping you calm your mind and body through different forms of relaxation.
Therapy should not be forever; therefore, my services are time limited and goal oriented. I am here to teach you the skills you need to manage your chronic pain on your own. Let’s build a “Chronic Pain Tool Kit” together!
